Lake Conroe Starts New Year with a Rain!!!   Leave a comment

Up to 4 inches of rain fell in most areas of the lake in the past 24 hours – which seems like more than all of last year.  Lake Conroe was up nearly 8 inches in the past 24 hours according to the pylons on my boat dock!  There was even some flooding in a few places and thats a word we haven’t used in quiet a while.  The rise in water levels are sure to also raise spirits of both buyers and sellers.  Currently our office has 3 contracts over the $1 + million dollar mark with a handful of other waterfront homes being negotiated.  This is a good way to start the year.  Hopefully more rain will fall in our area soon!  A few thunderstorms like the one that came through our area today and we will be back to nomal!

We will be posting the end of the year numbers for real estate sales soon!  It was another record breaking year for our company and marked the 11th consecutive year Allison and I have grown our business!

Waterfront Sales Remain Steady YTD   Leave a comment

Waterfront Home Sales on Lake Conroe have remained steady and prices show very few signs of decreasing despite one of the driest summers in U.S history.  Exactly the same number of homes sales have occurred (56) through November and their is still 7 weeks to go before year end.  Currently 6 waterfront homes are pending in the MLS at this time.  Our office continues to show approximately half a dozen waterfront buyers each week which is a good sign considering it is a few weeks before the holiday season.  This is just another sign Lake Conroe Real Estate continues to be strong despite all the obstacles and low lake levels
